 Rev. Scott and Faith CrossAssociate Pastor Scott came to Fenelon Falls in 1977 as a young teenager. He is third-generation minister, following in the footsteps of father Winston and grandfather Burrell. Scott is Associate Pastor at Shiloh Christian Centre. Scott met Faith Coates at a camp in the summer of 1980. They went to Bible College together for two years and were married June 18, 1983. Besides being Associate Pastor, Scott is employed full-time as a Manufacturing Supervisor of an assemply plant in Beaverton, ON. This keeps him in touch with challenges that the average working person must face on a daily basis. Faith uses her talents as organist, manages the Shiloh Rental Cottages, and helps in whatever capacity is needed at the church – from social convener to extra hands at workdays. Their family consists of four children, Sara-Dyan, Jennifer, Devin, and Justin, and was extended to include son-in-law Martin Chipp-Smith in July 2007. Martin, Jen, and daughter Taylor reside in Fenelon Falls and are very active at Shiloh Christian Centre. Martin oversees the Friday evening YOUTH PROGRAM, and is also a Youth Worker with KAWARTHA YOUTH FOR CHRIST, "Youth Unlimited", actively participating in events in and around the local communities. |
